New England Transcendentalism
The Transcendentalists in New England was a group of thinkers and writers gathered around Ralph Waldo Emerson in Concord, Massachusetts, the best known of the group is Henry David Thoreau, was about 13 years younger than Emerson who also lived in Concord.
