Tropical storm Andrea forms in Gulf of Mexico
The u.s. National Hurricane Center says a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico, wet weather in parts of Florida’s west coast has formed and ask for a tropical storm warnings in some areas.
Tropical storm Andrea was at 10 pm ET, about 430 miles southwest of Tampa and moving North at about 9 mph. maximum sustained winds were near 65 mph, with higher storm gusts.
