Vishu festival and the tradition of revering money
The Vishu festival falls on the first day of the month of Malayalam “Medam.” Malayalis celebrate worldwide, to start the day in good health, longevity and prosperity in their homes with the drafting of the ‘ Vishu kani ‘. ‘ Kani ‘ means, first showing at the beginning of the day.
