Cyclone Thane makes landfall between Puducherry and Cuddalore, causes heavy rain
Cyclone Thane has hit off the coast of Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Cuddalore landfall in between. Pondicherry is currently witnessing heavy rains and strong winds. Government officials have urged people to remain inside. (Watch: NDTV report from scratch of Pondicherry)
