Robbie Rogers coming out, soccer's reaction, mark steps forward
Last Monday, the day MLS preseason media, I conducted a survey of 15 quick players from teams in the League. Players were given anonymity for their honesty, and asked each one 25 hot button issues. One of them was this: a gay player will be accepted in the locker room team? This is the opinion of 14 players. One said no.
