Friendship Day on first Sunday of August
Friendship Day celebrations in different countries of the world is held on different dates. The first was the World Friendship Day on July 30, 1958 (e) of Paraguay. April 27, 2011, July 30 United Nations proclaimed the International Day of Friendship. However, India, Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
